Easter...

Today was Easter. Just got back from Bremerton. We hadn't been there in a while so it was nice. Good food! It was fun watching the kids do the Easter egg hunt...kind of brings back memories from when we did them. Uncle was giving out money and special prizes for golden eggs and numbers on em. Some kids were very lucky. But it was a good weekend. Before we went to Bremerton we had a yummy breakfast that Kabon and Jane prepared. We had wheat pancakes, donuts, sausage, hashbrowns and burnt bacon, lol. It was good and I stuffed myself!

When we got to Mom's place on Saturday we had a Birthday lunch. Auntie Teody and the family came. It was nice. Got a Mikimoto ring from mom and giftcards from everyone else. Berry nice! We also had a Dairy Queen cake....yum. We watched the Incredibles....very funny movie! Jack Jack is cute and funny especially in the Jack Attack scene.

Let's see what else....on Friday I found out that I got a promotion and a 14.5% raise! Woweee! I was surprised it was such a big raise. It's cool but now I have to do more at work just to get a successful rating next year. Oh wells!

Birthday was good...

Nathan is soo sweet, he baked me a cake and decorated the kitchen with balloons and a streamer! We had chocolate cake with chocolate icing...it was good! We also went to Todai...yum. I ate too much...hehe. I had a lot of sushi, had udon, jumbo shrimp and shrimp tempura. Also can't forget the crepes and fruit. Then we went to Washington Square and he bought me my Nike Shox. They are berry nice shoes =)! He also got me shirts that were on sale at the Lady Footlocker too! I wuv my Nathan! Now I'm here at work...almost time to go in. I'm glad I get to leave early tonight.

It's been a while...

I haven't written here in a while. I guess I should talk about the St. Patrick's Day Dash. It was fun. I actually ran it faster than I though I would....and I ran the whole thing! woohoo! Maybe the Red Bull that we drank before the race helped =). So according to the web page my results were: 535 104 2606 SHERRY MINKIEWICZ 26 HILLSBORO OR 29:05 29:45. Not bad for about 3.5 miles. 29:05 is the net and 29:45 is the official. Let's see what else has gone by...nothing much.

At work I'm training in the frontend. I started last Saturday and I'm already running the command center. Did overtime last week on Tuesday...8hrs for lvl 3 training. Most of the stuff on the checklist is checked off...which is good I guess. Just need more hands on training.

Well...Happy Birthday to me and my sis! Going to Todai for dinner...yum! I'll going in late at 11pm for work and leaving early on Friday 12am. Yay! You can see I still hate work... oh wells! It's not that bad... I just need to get on days. But I'm leaving early on Friday because we're going up to Seattle to celebrate our birthday and it's Easter on Sunday. It should be nice.

Filter changes...yuck

Did two filter changes this week at work. But I'm glad this is my last day. I decided to take Friday night off, since I'll be doing the St. Patrick's Day Dash on Sunday morning. That should be kind of fun. I hope I'll be able to run the whole thing. I've been trying to prepare for it but it's hard. I haven't even ran in the last two days. But I'll run when I get up today.

Anyways, didn't do much last weekend.
