We went to the Las Vegas Boat Harbor and saw Lake Mead. According to Wikipedia, Lake Mead is the largest reservoir in the United States. It is located on the Colorado River about 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas. Formed by water impounded by the Hoover Dam, it extends 112 miles behind the dam, holding approximately 28.5 million acre feet (or 9.28 trillion gallons) of water.
Trevor had fun feeding and seeing all the fish and ducks. I can’t believe how much fish there were that came when they were fed the bread that we brought. When we went, there was even some lady that had a huge bag of popcorn she was feeding the fish. It was crazy! Here’s a video and some pics:
